1st Module: Pre-Operative Patient Assessment (A)

The course focuses on pre-opeative patient evaluation and suitability for office based dental sedation. The curriculum will focus on comprehensive of the ASA classification system and the following patient grouped and topics will be covered: Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Ischemic heart disease, Congestive heart failures, Coronary stents, Obesity, Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), Geriatrics, Psychiatric and Thyroid disease.
